The table below shows our standard sizes, based on body measurements. Individual garment measurements are linked on the relevant product page.

Please measure yourself before choosing your size. As we make to order, please do not order multiple sizes to try on and return.

We offer customisation on all made-to-order styles and can create a custom size just for you, using your body measurements!

Product care

We use high quality natural fabrics that will last a lifetime (or longer), provided they are carefully worn, washed and stored. We advise airing and steaming your garments between wears, and only cleaning when they are dirty.

For best results, we recommend professional dry cleaning with an eco-friendly cleaner. Alternatively, most of our pieces can be washed at home, either by hand or by machine - please refer to the care label.

Manimekala jewellery and other non-textile accessories are wipe-clean only. Avoid contact with water, perfumes or oils, and store in a cool, dry place in their original Manimekala protective box or bag.

How to hand-wash

To wash clothing by hand, turn it inside out and soak in cool water (30C max) with delicate laundry detergent. Do not rub or wring the fabric as this may damage it. Rinse in clean water, gently straighten out and hang to air dry.

Natural fibres tend to wrinkle and feel a little "crispy" after washing, but can be easily ironed or steamed to make them soft and wrinkle-free.
